An integrative approach
See the script — and act beyond it.
We tend to assume that life will improve once we reach the next goal. So we make decisions, overcome setbacks and keep moving forward. And yet, even when our circumstances change, our experience of life may remain much the same. Something still feels missing, or a familiar situation returns in a different form.
At some point, a different question begins to emerge: what if the pattern is not only around us, but also in the script we keep enacting without realising it?
Conscious Play uses real-life situations as material for structured inner work.

Part I
Life itself becomes a playground for development. What unfolds around us brings our inner script into view — not as an idea, but as something taking place in real time. As we learn to perceive differently, make different choices and relate differently, the reality we help create begins to shift as well.
The point of entry
A difficult business, career or personal situation in which familiar solutions no longer work
The same conflict or pattern recurring in professional or personal relationships
A sense of being stuck, losing direction, or living with a divide between outward success and inner life
An understanding of the problem that has not translated into real change
A desire to bring greater clarity and awareness into life — and to experience it not merely as a succession of tasks and difficulties, but as a space for exploration, choice and play
Two parts of our inner reality
THE ACTOR relies on familiar roles and learned scripts to navigate life. This is not a flaw: without such patterns, we would have to start from scratch in every situation. The difficulty begins when we forget that a role is being played. What was once a useful response starts to feel like the only possible one. Reaction replaces choice, and the old story repeats itself.
THE AUTHOR can see both what is happening and the role we are playing within it. That wider awareness creates room not merely to react, but to shape the role consciously, alter the relationships between the characters and influence where the story goes next.
Conscious Play is not about defeating or silencing THE ACTOR. It is about strengthening our connection with THE AUTHOR, so that the author can take a fuller part in how we perceive situations, shape our roles and influence the unfolding story.
Why call it play?
Every situation shifts the balance between them. Sometimes THE ACTOR follows the familiar script; at other times THE AUTHOR comes into play, creating room to influence what happens next.
To see life as a coherent dramatic whole is to notice conflict, subtext and the deeper story connecting events. This perspective helps us loosen our unconscious submission to a role and begin to participate as the author of our own life.
When we experience life as play — or as a dream from which we are beginning to awaken — its sense of absolute seriousness begins to loosen. The inner child comes alive, bringing curiosity, freedom to improvise and the courage to try. Playfulness expands our capacity for change.
Life as practice
In the stillness of meditation, it is easy to feel connected to a spiritual path. But when we open our eyes, we do not leave that path and return to “ordinary” life. A difficult conversation, a business decision, intimacy, conflict — these are not interruptions to the practice. They are where the practice continues.
Conscious Play does not take us away from life in the name of development. It invites us to enter life more fully and attentively: to see the script at work, discover where choice is still possible and make a new move. We do not live first and develop later. We develop as we live.
Part II
Conscious Play has taken shape over more than thirty years of personal and professional exploration — at the meeting point of analytical rigour, the study of consciousness and real-life experience as a path of inner development.
The path to Conscious Play
Conscious Play did not emerge from a single school or system. It grew out of a long exploration that brought together different ways of understanding people and the situations in which they find themselves.
This exploration is grounded in extensive professional and practical experience. For more than thirty years, I have worked in international legal consulting, including over twenty years as a partner in leading international law firms and in my own firm. For more than a decade, I have also worked as a mentor and coach and am accredited by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council. Alongside this, I have practiced meditation for more than sixteen years and studied psychology for over five years, with a particular focus on constellation work and psychodrama.
As these different strands of exploration came together, Conscious Play gradually took shape — a flexible approach in which analytical precision meets inner depth, and practical action becomes part of spiritual development. My role is not to hand someone a part to play, but to help them see their own story more clearly and discover the move that is theirs alone to make.

Part III
Conscious Play has a shared framework, but no prescribed path to follow. Its practices offer direction and support, while individual work unfolds in response to your own story.
You can begin with a single format, combine several, or follow Conscious Play as a complete programme.
01
One-to-one work with me focused on a specific situation in your business, career, personal or inner life. You may come with a single question or choose a series of sessions for deeper, more sustained work.
Sessions are held online or, by arrangement, in person. Each session lasts between one and one and a half hours.
02
Each group session is shaped by the questions and situations participants submit in advance. Constellation work is the primary method, although other forms of exploration may also be used. While one participant works with their situation, others may take on roles or observe, gaining perspectives that are often unavailable from within their usual point of view.
Sessions take place mainly online. In-person meetings may be arranged when participants are in the same city. You may attend a single session; each session lasts up to two hours.
03
Regular online classes offer a sustained path of learning, bringing together theories of human development, practices for cultivating attention and meditation. Each session combines conceptual understanding with direct experience. Over time, new ways of seeing and being can take root in decisions, relationships and everyday life.
Classes are held live online. Each class lasts between one and one and a half hours.
04
A retreat involves five to ten days of in-person work. As the usual rhythm of life recedes, space opens for deeper immersion.
Stepping out of the constant flow of activity makes it possible to listen more closely to yourself and see your life as a whole. Each retreat may centre on a particular theme or an important chapter in your life.
